This is kinda embarrassing. But I might as well tell it publicly so that nobody ever invites me out again to any parties and outings where I could overspend. And so that those who owe me money may consider dishing out some of their cash and pay.
I spend. Everybody spends. But me...I'm an impulsive buyer. Very impulsive I must say.
Last year, in just two weeks...I bought four shoes. I said I deserve it. But I said that just to relieve myself of shopping guilt.
Yesterday, while me and a friend where in Shangri La Plaza Mall along EDSA, there was an event promoting guilt-free shopping. I was curious cause someone from among their group was giving testimonials how she started a guilt-free shopping habit. But since my friend and I were there for a movie, I let the chance to listen and learn slip that time.
So we had a dinner before the movie. A sumptuous one. Well, I'm the type who pigs out some evenings. And to make the story short. The dinner was kinda pricey. Although, I enjoyed it anyways. (Ughhhh. I hate it when I had to rub my conscience just to free it from guilt. Dang!)
OK. Here's the deal. I have started reading tips on how to save money. I have also started a daily expenditure list. And I'm hoping I can keep this up so I can have it analyzed at the end of each month.
On a positive note, this could be a way for me to get that my bulging tummy back to its original size.
Your shopaholic malady will find an instant cure when the dough runs out.
ReplyDeleteIf you're starting to save, please do so after my party ha?
